Formateados a la antigua / old-fashioned

               

   

                A los sistemas operativos de las computadoras los van actualizando, haciéndolos cada vez mejores y veloces, superan errores, inconvenientes; entonces pasa que los diferentes programas que tienen las máquinas deben ser actualizados a la nueva versión para que funcione en el nuevo sistema operativo. Hay personas que se acostumbran a trabajar con un sistema, conocen los caminos y atajos, les sirve para las tareas en que lo ocupan. Pero la tecnología se va superando, el software hay que adaptarlo a esa nueva tecnología que siempre trae innovaciones interesantes y prácticas. Con los problemas políticos y económicos pasa lo mismo, las nuevas realidades presentan nuevos problemas, y los nuevos problemas requieren programas nuevos, ideas nuevas, soluciones innovadoras, pero para que funcionen los nuevos programas hay que cambiar el sistema operativo, la forma de trabajar, las ideas, la costumbre; lo irónico es que hay personas formateadas con un sistema viejo intentando resolver problemas nuevos, dando explicaciones ortodoxas a nuevas dificultades, realidades y necesidades... Y siguiendo la analogía...se les traba la maquina, vuelven a encenderla, les dan unos golpecitos y como funciona nuevamente piensan que el problema está resuelto, hasta que les pasa lo mismo. Muchos consideran a esos programas como los únicos capaces de resolver los problemas en tiempo y forma, que hay que seguir un proceso, por más que haya muchos errores en el resultado; lo único que logran es mantener un estado de cosas, con la misma incertidumbre e impedimento al progreso. Problemas nuevos, oportunidades nuevas, software nuevo, programas nuevos. Por eso es la juventud que debe traer ideas nuevas, porque los formateados con paradigmas obsoletos, no logran destruir a los nuevos virus, no pueden adaptarse al presente, incluso prefieren no verlos como al calentamiento global o al coronavirus.

They update the operating systems of computers, making them better and faster, they overcome errors and inconveniences; then it happens that the different programs that the machines have must be updated to the new version so that it works in the new operating system. There are people who get used to working with a system, they know the ways and shortcuts, it serves them for the tasks in which they occupy it. But technology is being overcome, the software has to be adapted to that new technology that always brings interesting and practical innovations. With the political and economic problems the same thing happens, the new realities present new problems, and the new problems require new programs, new thought, innovative solutions, but for the new programs to work you have to change the operating system, the way of working, ideas, custom; the irony is that there are people formatted with an old system trying to solve new problems, giving orthodox explanations to new difficulties, realities and needs ... And following the analogy ... the machine is locked, they turn it on again, they tap it and as it works again they think that the problem is solved, until the same thing happens to them. Many consider these programs as the only ones capable of solving problems in a timely manner, that a process must be followed, even if there are many errors in the result; all they can do is maintain a state of affairs, with the same uncertainty and impediment to progress. New problems, new opportunities, new software, new programs. That is why it is the youth that must bring new thought, because those formatted with obsolete paradigms, cannot destroy the new viruses, they cannot adapt to the present, they even prefer not to see them as global warming or the coronavirus.
